Launched by NetZero Tech Ventures in collaboration with Chevron Technology Ventures (CTV), the Labs4Climate initiative attracted nearly 40 outstanding applications from world-class researchers across the globe. After a highly competitive review process, these five projects were selected for their originality, scientific rigor, and potential to deliver real-world climate impact.
Together with the new National Institute for Energy Storage, Bar-Ilan University, the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and with the support of the Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות, we’re working to create the first-of-its-kind Energy Prototype Labs in Israel — designed to help academic and industry breakthroughs in climate and energy make the leap from lab to market.

This year marked NetZero Tech Ventures' first active presence at NYC's Climate Week, a landmark global gathering of investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, and policymakers, featuring over 600 official and unofficial events across the city.
The Israeli energy tech ecosystem has grown significantly in recent years, with many new startups and established companies working to generate low-carbon energy systems. There are currently over 300 companies in the sector, and it continues its expansion mode, with more young new deep tech companies established every year.
The delegation included breakthrough innovative companies such as  ntTao (nuclear fusion), H2Pro (hydrogen generation), BugEra (biofuels), Doral Energy (hydrogen), Xfloat (renewable energy), WatAirGy (renewable energy), Fast Sense (hydrogen monitoring), Naki (bio fuels), and Brenmiller (waste heat).
