Before joining NetZero Ventures, Jack advised government and industry clients on sustainability strategy and climate risk at Deloitte. Jack holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Environmental Studies.

Gil Barnea
An entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in mechanical engineering, IT, chemistry and energy systems. As head of R&D at a leading government agency, Gil was the director of the corporate venture capital division.
Avinoam Rubinstain
A serial entrepreneur and technology executive with more than 30 years of experience, Avinoam has founded, led, and successfully exited multiple deep-tech ventures across telecommunications, AI, enterprise networking, energy, and thermal management. He has worked closely with leading venture capital firms including Benchmark, Accel, Sequoia, and Norwest. Most recently, Avinoam served as CEO of Carrar and advisor to ZutaCore. Previously, he founded and led Atrica, a pioneer in Carrier Ethernet solutions that raised over $200 million and was acquired by Nokia Siemens Networks. Earlier, he served as Vice President and General Manager at 3Com, leading businesses with annual revenues exceeding $200 million. Avinoam also co-founded my6sense, an AI-driven media technology company, and NiceCom, one of Israel’s early startup success stories. He previously served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Benchmark Capital. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Yael Weisz Zilberman
Yael is responsible for deal flow, marketing and partnerships. Previously, Yael established the Climate Tech practice at Startup Nation Central, assisting global corporations and investors to engage with Israeli innovation. Yael holds an MBA from Reichmann University.
Dr. Gideon Friedmann
Gideon is the former Chief Scientist at the Israel Ministry of Energy, where he spearheaded a major innovative energy tech funding program bolstering academic and industrial R&D ventures. Has over 15years of industry experience in semiconmetrology, medical instrumentation, biotechnology, and energy efficiency. Gideon holds a PhD in physics fromStanford U and an MSc from Purdue U.
Shmuel Kedmi
Shmuel brings over 30 years of experience in technology management and development, including serving as General Partner at OSEG and as CEO of Rafael Development Corporation (RDC) — the venture arm of one of the world’s leading defense technology developers, in partnership with Elron (TASE: ELRN). He also served as a faculty member in the Department of Physics and Electro-Optics at the Jerusalem College of Technology.
